Carbonara Pancit Canton Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 packs pancit canton
- 1/8 cup noodle water
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 packets oil
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp onion, minced
- 1/4 cup lucheon meat, diced
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/8 tsp pancit canton seasoning
- 1 packet soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mushrooms (optional)
- 1/8 cup grated cheese
- 1 tsp spring onions
Procedure:
- Cook pancit canton until al dente. Reserve 1/8 cup of noodle water
- Dilute cornstarch with noodle water
- Preheat cooking oil
- Saute garlic, onion and luncheon meat
- Add evaporated milk, pancit canton seasoning, soy sauce
- Add mushrooms and diluted cornstarch
- Add diluted cornstarch and cook until thickened
- Mix sauce with the noodles
