
Simple and easy recipe to cook Adobong Baka. The secret to a yummy Beef Adobo is to boil it first in water with pepper and salt until tender for about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. Once tender, fry it quickly to get that crisp texture and then toss it in simmering adobo sauce mixture. Can you imagine how delicious it can be.
Always remember, the longer the sauce sits in the beef is better! You can always cook it ahead of time and reheat it when you’re ready to serve it. This recipe is also good for beach outing or family picnic because the shelf life can last longer in normal temperature or even without refrigeration.
Adobong Baka Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg Beef
- 2 cups oil
- 1/4 cup garlic
- 1/4 onion
- 1/2 soy sauce
- 1/2 vinegar
- 1/4 brown sugar
- 2 pcs laurel
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 cup water
Cooking Procedure:
- Boil the beef 1-2 hours. Remove from heat after then let it cool.
- In a boiling water, mix soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, onion, pepper, laurel and brown sugar in 10 minutes.
- Deep fry the beef. Check if it is medium toast then drain it and set aside.
- Put the cooked beef into the mix adobo sauce. Bring to a boil.
- Serve and enjoy!
